The 2007 Mayor's Carols By Candlelight
Annually the Mayor of Ipswich presents an amazing night of family entertainment to celebrate Christmas with his extended family... the City of Ipswich.
DATE: Saturday 15th December 2007
PLACE: Ipswich Turf Club, Bundamba.
Launching the evening's entertainment will be the number one children's performers - The Boogie Woogies Superhero Band!
The childrens entertainment will then continue with your favorite Channel TEN children show hosts presented live.
Next up the RAN Concert Band will be presenting a Christmas overture and the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale will be leading you through your favorite Christmas carols.
Our local performers will be recognised through the Star is Born winners segment.
Then on top of the addition of dancers, the arrival of Santa and the Mayor's official Christmas message the night is completed with two amazing artists Marina Prior and Christine Anu.
All up it promises to be magical night of impressive free entertainment that ends with a fireworks spectacular - WOW!
