The Ipswich Festival is recognised throughout the state as an extraordinarily successful regional festival – one of the fastest growing in Queensland!
Combining the best performers from our region and inviting the nation’s major artists to join us for two weeks of celebrations, the Ipswich Festival features a cultural and arts program as diverse and exciting as any on offer throughout the country.
Ranging from the extremely popular Street Parade, to the exclusive black tie Mayor’s Festival Ball, from the multicultural Global Fiesta, to the Senior’s concerts and programs exclusively for children. The Festival includes Art Exhibitions, Theatre, Street art, Youth concerts, Contemporary country, Cabaret and the acclaimed Jazz, Wine and Blues Day.
The Festival celebrates the cultural heritage of our city and showcases young emerging talents. It brings out the very best in Ipswich and its residents, proudly displaying our unique and varied cultures to the ever increasing number of tourist visitors to our region during Festival fortnight.
Community involvement and development is paramount to the successful growth of the Festival and we are pleased that each year more and more community groups and industry leaders choose to join us in celebrating the visual, performing arts and cultural life of our city.

"After doing a run around with the tenants in Ipswich Centre the consensus is that the Saturday Parade was bigger and better than its ever been.....I personally thought the event went off extremely well and was impressed by both the numbers of punters as well as the floats and performers."

"I would like to thank everyone that was involved in the organisation of the Ipswich Festival. It was an exceptional night. It was a huge success with us selling approximately 38 kg of sausages. We could not have asked for a better night. Congratulations on a job well done. None of this would be possible without the help and support of the Ipswich Festival.
Karen Squires
Manager, Ipswich Hospice Bargain Centre.
