The vote for the People's Choice Award of the 2007/08 Premer's Multicultural Photographic Awards is now open. For your vote, go to www.photographicawards.qld.gov.au
Eleven images responding to the theme New Beginnings have been selected for this year's shortlist and the images can be viewed at an exhibition at South Bank Arour outside the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. The vote for the People's Choice Award closes on the 4th of February. The winners will be announced at the Award's Ceremony on the 10th of February.
BRACKETS AND JAM
Brackets and Jam is a fun filled night where almost anything can happen!
Friday February 15th from 7pm - South Street Club, South Ipswich
Tickets: Adults $10 Students 12-18 $5 Under 12's Free
An eclectic mix of featured artists, impromtu performances and 2 mega jam sessions that gets everyone involved one way or another.
All performing artists are welcome to come along and drop their name in the hat for their chance to perform or just join in the jam sessions. Not so talented or too shy? No problem, just come along and enjoy the wonderful talented Ipswich has to offer or boogie away during the jams. Money raised will go towards performing arts projects for Ipswich residents

Caribbean Trading Companies - Argh Pirates, Sword fighting and the odd kidnapping!
Bring your drums, bring your bells, bring your voices and your dancing shoes and grab 5 minutes of fame! Brackets and Jam has been running in NSW for 10 years with great success and now this community based events has come to Ipswich. We are looking for one more feature act for the 15th!!!!!
