Ipswich Events Corp has been lead by General Manager - Terry Hadnutt for more than eight years. Terry's extensive career brings both national and international experience into the company. Whilst working on the creative and administrative concepts of major events, Terry is passionate about community arts development.

Terry Hadnutt has generated annual sponsorships for regional and capital city Festivals to record levels and is the leading figure in arts and events sponsorship development. The resultant funds are staggering and represent significant strategic partnerships with major leading corporations and media at senior level.

Paul Casos

Paul Casos
Executive Chairman Ipswich Events Corporation

Paul Casos is a fourth generation Ipswich resident who has contributed significantly towards the positive development of local businesses, community organisations and service clubs over the past 40 years. Through his own company 'Torque Communities', Paul undertakes the roles of Executive Chairman of Ipswich Events Corporation; Executive Chairman - Drag Racing Australia Group Ltd; Consultant to the Board of South East Qld Community Telco and Vice President of Willowbank Raceway. In addition, Paul participates in a voluntary capacity with numerous other community based Boards and Foundations. Paul's work ethos and philosophy follows the principle of Rotary International of 'Service above Self'.

Sylvia Norton

Ipswich Central Marketing Manager

Dynamic, enthusiastic with a wealth of experience" describes the new Marketing and Promotions Coordinator for Ipswich Events Corp, Sylvia Norton.

"The feeling in Ipswich is truly one of community. There's a real sense of support and goodwill among retailers and I find that exceptional," said Sylvia.

With 16years working in a range of leading shopping centres Sylvia is really excited about her new role working with the retailers in Ipswich Central.

"The idea that business is not seen as a 'retail add-on', that it sits within the community, really appeals to me. I am really looking forward to meeting all the retailers in the CBD over the coming weeks and working with them to build the profile of Ipswich Central," said Sylvia.

Sylvia's career boasts recognition from within the industry notably through two awards from the Property Council of Australia (PCA); the Retailers Motivation Development Award and the Merchandising/Sales Promotion Award. Sylvia also holds a Shopping Centre Marketing degree through the PCA.

Catherine Hoffmann

Cathy Hoffmann
Administration

Cathy has a long association with Ipswich Events Corporation, having commenced work with the Corporation in March 1994.

She holds an Associate Diploma in Business (Accounting), which Cathy completed by correspondence whilst travelling throughout Queensland with her husband a secondary school teacher. She returned to Ipswich with her family in 1979 and has remained since.

Cathy is an Ipswich girl at heart, completed both primary and secondary schooling in Ipswich, played in many Ipswich school girls' sports, mainly netball and vigoro and has been a committee member of the Hancocks Ladies Hockey Club for 4 years. Her family has now grown and her three children continue to give her much joy, now with her six grandchildren and a seventh due in early 2007.

With twenty-four years experience in bookkeeping and administration, her experience covers public service, Arthritis Foundation of Qld as well as Ipswich Events Corporation. In September 2002 Cathy reduced her administration and bookkeeping capacities at Ipswich Events Corporation to start her own businesses supplying bookkeeping services, which now boasts a clientele of 13. After twelve years her pride and focus continue to be the success and growth of Ipswich Events Corporation.
